Where Flavor, Creativity, and Community Come Together!

The Sweet Botanist is more than dessert, it’s a space where everyone is welcome, where food is made with care, and where every bite feels like home.

Food has always been Amber’s love language—a way to tell stories, spark joy, and bring people together. A vegetarian since age 8 and fully vegan since 2010, she has spent a lifetime exploring the magic of plant-based ingredients, transforming them into something nostalgic, beautiful, and deeply satisfying.

Amber’s heritage is a beautiful blend of Chamorra, PA Dutch, and Native American roots, infusing her food with rich cultural traditions and a deep connection to food as a way of honoring family, community, and history. These influences inspire her creative approach to plant-based cuisine, blending diverse flavors and stories into every dish.

At 12, complications from Lyme disease left her partially blind, changing the way she experienced the world. Without relying as much on sight, her other senses sharpened, deepening her connection to flavor, texture, and scent. As a neuro-spicy creator, she sees food as more than nourishment—it’s a form of storytelling, a way to create moments of comfort, wonder, and belonging.

An award-winning chef and passionate advocate for plant-based cuisine, Amber has been recognized in national competitions and featured in publications for her innovative approach. Every dessert, every dinner, every experience she creates is infused with heart, intention, plants and a little bit of magic.
